Blues’ captain Vihang won the toss and elected to bat first. Batted first Blues scored 282 runs for 8 in 35 overs. As usual SPCC opener Saurabh (54) scored quick half century in 18 balls. Blues lost their four top order batsmen when score was just 85. Vishnu and Rupesh kept their cool and played the much required head down knock. Vishu (54) scored his first half century of the season and Rupesh (125) scored his first century. Partnership was broken down by Ashok Singh in 28’th over when Blues’ were 210 for 5. For CTCC C Param and S Namala took 3 wickets each.

Chasing 282 CTCC got the flying start but lost their top order in quick session Jaggi and Ashok both sent CTCC top order batsmen to pavilion. Jaggi and Ashok both shared 2 wickets each (all bowled). CTCC middle and lower order batsmen fought hard but could not get closer to Blues’ score and lost the game by 30 runs. For CTCC C Peram (42) was the top scorer.
