On the rainy and murder day, SPCC was hoping for match to be not washed out, SPCC was clearly positive sign to play this match in any condition. After more than an hour delay, both team agreed to play only 30 overs each side. Umpire called both team captains for Toss. Luckily SPCC won the toss and decided to field because of too much grass and very wet ground, hoping ball will not travel. WGCC opened innings with in form Amar and captain Sunny. In the second over Sunny gave catch to point and departed without scoring any runs. Rahul joined Amar on the crease, both settled down and then slowly started scoring runs, but then Amar gave easy catch on mid wicket area to Hiren in Subhashis over. Soon Rahul also departed along with Amar. Dipen and Tarun scored runs on the board with some good hits out of ground. Tarun got out on 35 runs where Dipen scored 57, others did not able to score much runs and after 30 overs WGCC scored 164/9. SPCC opened innings with their new opening pair Vishnu and Shirshant, Vishnu started hitting some odd boundaries where Shirshant only played ground shots. After long time SPCC scored 50 runs in their innings without loosing any wickets, but then Vishnu, Rohan and Shirshant got out in quick succession. Neeraj and Mayank were on the crease after 64/3 in 9 overs. SPCC required 101 runs in 21 overs, Mayank settled down soon but Neeraj never need any time to settle down, both scored long hits out of grounds and after 100 runs standing between both of them, Mayank scored 52* and Neeraj scored quick 45* in just 19 balls. SPCC chase down 165 in 21 overs. Neeraj declared man of the match for his 5 wickets and 45* runs.
